ABOUT US

Kathy started her classical ballet training at a very young age. The dance bug bit and she went on to attend The Billy Barry Stage School.

In her teenage years her interest turned to Latin American dancing and she trained in both Dublin and Northern Ireland, before going on to win the presigious world title 'Champion of Tomorrow' at the Winter Gardens in the world famous home of ballroom dancing, Blackpool.

A professional dance diploma followed from the College of Dance in Dublin and Kathy also trained at the world renowned Pineapple Dance Studios in London and the influential Broadway Dance Centre in New York.

She has performed and choreographed for numerous stage productions at The Helix, Gaeity and Vicar Street as well as on RTE and TV3. Kathy has also danced for Natasha Hamilton from Atomic Kitten and has performed in ad campaigns for Reebok, Peter Mark and L'Oreal as well as a music video for Irish band 'The Coronas'. In the last year she choreographed the UCD Fashion Show, launches for Sony and Meteor as well as working as choreographer on RTE's The Model Scout with winner Tabeya Weyrauch.

In 2006 Kathy founded 'Dance Masters-Choreographers Showcase' and went on to launch 'Dance Masters-Choreographer of the Year'. In November of 2011 she will host 'Dance Honours' Irelands first dance awards ceremony.
